Heat Press

Our Heat Press department is home to 3 different decoration techniques; sublimation, vinyl applique and digital transfer. Each technique offers a different look and feel but all are pressed, or transferred, to garments via heat and pressure.
  • SUBLIMATION

A unique printing process that first involves printing onto a special sheet of paper, then transferring that image onto material (usually polyester or a polyester mix). The ink is then heated until it disintegrates into the fabric for a soft feel. This means the dye is now actually part of the make-up of the fabric, which is why the design doesn’t bleed out in the wash, doesn't crack, peel or fade.

  • VINYL APPLIQUE

The Vinyl Applique process takes a vector image and runs it through a mechanical vinyl cutter, which cuts the design outline onto your choice of vinyl material/color. Excess vinyl is removed, and the image is pressed onto the garment.

  • DIGITAL TRANSFER

Stunning, full color high-definition logos and designs are printed onto special clear films using digital water-based inks and a powder adhesive coating. The film is then laid onto the garment and heat pressed directly onto the garment. Offered in a variety of finishes and materials to suit your design; bright and vivid, soft opaque or even glitter. No screens or art separations required.
